“The Arcadeans best described by YouBloom.com “while drawing from a different era, The Arcadean’s music still sounds fresh and contemporary, proving music is ageless and timeless””
BacklineLive writes
“ And then The Arcadeans took the stage.
There is a difference between playing music live and performing music live, and The Arcadeans demonstrated it almost immediately. Frontman Derek Barrett is rarely still. He works the whole stage, involves the musicians around him, gets the audience singing and turns the performance into something shared rather than something simply being watched. At points the guitars move together in unison; at others Barrett is pulling a response from the crowd or moving across the stage to engage another member of the band.”
The Arcadeans
Who we are:
“we are here to entertain, put on a show and make you smile”
Now resident in Cork, Ireland, The Arcadeans are a 4 piece guitar focused outfit that draw their originality and creativity from 60s music right through to modern day. Rather than follow a particular music style, The Arcadeans are influenced by guitar legends and composers past and present including people like Phil Lynott, Keith Richards, Rory Gallagher, Nic Cester (Jet), and Billie Joe Armstrong.
